Sound Card Settings For Zones [closed]

0 votes

Hello, I am trying to get my zones online but I am having some trouble. I currently have 2 rooms setup for audio, however, I cant the configuration setup correctly.
My setup:
Sound Card with 6 inputs on the back and 2 inputs on the front
Dayton Audio 6 Zone Amp.

I am fairly certain my issue with with my sounds card settings because when I use my 2nd output(front of PC) into amp, music plays in the zones as it should. When I use the jacks on the rear of my PC it doesn't automatically recognize new zones on the config utility.

I currently 1 plug going from the back of my PC to my computer and 2 other inputs going to the amp. Here is a screenshot of the config:

Here are my current sound card settings:

What am I doing wrong?

I noticed you show the sound card settings as configured by the 'Realtek HD Audio Manager' control panel. Have you made sure that it is also configured as 7.1 surround within the 'Windows Sound' control panel?
I was able to figure this out. I had to update the settings on the sound manager program, changing my settings to 7.1. I then had to restart my computer. After resetting my PC the additional zones started showing. Here is what it looks like with multiple zones functioning:

Awesome. Glad you were able to figure it out. Could you please post your solution as an answer and then choose it as the selected answer, for the benefit of others.
